Gudren’s space was beautiful and exactly as described. The house is centrally located in the heart of Stokkseyri and right next door to the kids playground, which was a huge asset with our young son. It’s also conveniently located near Selfoss. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house was very cute and perfect for us and our two kids who claimed the second story. The hosts were very sweet and even shipped our son’s stuffie back after we accidentally left it. Would recommend

Wonderful place to stay. The host was so thoughtful and responsive and made our stay very pleasant. They went above and beyond to successfully help us with a special request. The house is cute and was very clean and welcoming.

L’endroit est parfait pour notre famille ! L’endroit est chaleureux et on s’y sent bien immédiatement . C’est décoré avec goût et il est très facile à partir de cette endroit de rayonner dans la région autant cercle d’or que la péninsule de Reykjanes. De tous les Airbnb que j’ai fait en Islande ce fut mon préféré !

Lovely house to stay in with beautiful sunsets! It was a perfect spot for our family to relax after busy days of sight-seeing, with lots of light, space, and beautiful views. The house was well-equipped, very clean, and beautifully decorated, especially upstairs. From booking through check-out, everything was very easy and Gudrun was responsive and helpful. For quick groceries and coffee, there is a little shop right next door for all your necessities. If you're looking for a peaceful place a little off the beaten path of the Ring Road, I would highly recommend a stay at Gudrun's place!

We had a very nice stay at Gudrun’s home! It’s conveniently located for traveling all around KC. Gudrun was very communicative, clear, and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, large, and super clean.
The street is one-way so parking is easy and the block is quiet and calm — but it’s very close to many good restaurants and bars.
Beds are very comfortable! The linens are great. As noted in the listing, the upstairs bedroom and bathroom are an open space, but that wasn’t a problem for us as a couple.
The house has lots of windows that let in great natural light when you want it — but are equipped with terrific blinds when you want privacy.
Overall a great stay in a great location; thank you, Gudrun!

Gudrun’s place was exactly as described. Everything went very well. As great as everything was at the house, the location is fantastic. It is close enough to walk to the country club plaza with all the great restaurants and shopping and it is minutes by car from Westport and Crown Center. We WILL stay here again. Thank you Gudrun.

Safe neighborhood. Sometimes in this area of town the neighborhoods are finicky. This one is not. Would book again solely based on that. Other perks: cleanliness, well equipped kitchen, awesome bathrooms, easy check in, convenient location, prime parking. (Street is a one way, don’t be wary of this listing due to street parking.) Beds are firm. Staircase is beautiful but has no hand rail so one must go slow when exiting the loft area.
